There is a fable about an old man who endlessly pours tea into the cup of a youngster, using an analogy to tell him off for being an insufferable know-it-all. It's a story that basically says "young people don't know everything and should stop acting like they do". But here's the thing - who poured the tea, or knowledge, into the youngsters' heads to start with without making space for more?
