This section borrows from Star Wars. In fact, the unseen father is reminiscent of Han Solo. He is the same kind of lovable rouge who cuts corners for the sake of a credit. Here we see the pitfalls of being the son of a 'loveable rogue'. No wonder Kylo Renn was so annoyed with his father! This scene was actually inspired by my Dad, but that's a story for another time and a good therapist!
