The interview that partly inspired the overall plot had an outcome that inspired this episode. The HR department 'forgot' to inform me of the result. Meanwhile, I had been left dangling, wondering what had gone wrong when I had clearly been told the job was mine. Oh, how the HR person laughed as they told me of the error. Oh, how I began to think I had applied to the wrong institution!
