So much to say about Cowbirds... I chose to draw the brown-headed species. Cowbirds are brood parasites, meaning they rely on others to raise their young. The female Cowbird purposely stakes-out other birds nests, and when left alone, swoops in to lay one or two of her own eggs. Often she'll knock one of the native eggs from nest. #dickmove
