The Giant Pangolin (depicted here) grows to 5 feet (1.5m) long and weighs 80 pounds (36kg) - Pangolins are the ONLY mammals to be covered in scales. They use this tough plating for protection, and when rolled up in a ball are nearly impenetrable to prey. Unfortunately, their unique trait makes them the MOST TRAFFICKED ANIMAL IN THE WORLD.
