A fish house (I think, anyways, based on old cannery blue prints heh) was where the fish was stored. The canning room, or machinery room, would be where all the state of the art canning machines were kept. Alsooo I found this quote back when I was researching this comic, and although it was written in the 2000’s, I totally wanted to include it somewhere hehe
