So on a positive note, Meredith managed to do very powerful magic without Djali, but unfortunately, it is in the direction and presence of a police officer (who can't seem to do anything right). Which, of the rules she was supposed to follow to stay under the radar, leaving the police well and out of it was kind of number 1. But we're starting to see a glimpse of why she hates the police.
