I just want to point out how Gills donut does not disappear between panels. You have no idea how this donut plagued me in the construction of this episode. Anyway, Meredith has some strong prejudice against Gill because of his job, but his copsense is blaring to get involved. Should he have just walked away? Well it's not like he was trained on that. He mostly works with bicycles and parked cars
