Pine pitch or resin is the sticky, cloudy substance secreted by pine trees (different from sap). The most popular use for pine pitch is to create a black tar-ish glue by gently heating pine resin crystals and mixing with charcoal. This glue is a water-resistant and versatile adhesive, and can used to fill gaps or create seals or turned to any number of other projects. It is also very flammable.
