The Pelasgians migrated to the Greek peninsula from Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey) around 3500 B.C., hundreds of years prior to the arrival of the Proto-Greek. Academy Award and Pulitzer Prize winner Jules Feiffer began his career in 1946 at age 17 as a writer and clean-up artist for Will Eisner’s Spirit comics. From 1956 to 1997, he was a staff artist at the Village Voice.
