This one was probably the most difficult to explain because there is so much more I could have discussed! This is a key technique in an organic chemistry laboratory, I use it to monitor reactions and when I purify my organic compounds. I mentioned polarity in two comics now, but this term is a bit more complex. So look for a new segment called Term Tuesday! (may or may not be posted on a Tuesday)
