While Fidgets can be added anywhere, it's usually frowned upon to do it when the character is directly being controlled by the player. A mini-game where the character is a witch stirring a cauldron using a separate screen to press buttons might benefit but a platformer or fighting game where the player needs to know what part of the motion it is in order to do tricky jumps would cause confusion.
