In Re-Possessed 80, I wanted to show the change in domestic life for Troy. With Hope more living with him too, she continues to live like she has on the other side: survival of the fittest. And in this case, that means taking what she needs and not apologizing for it.

To which, Mari is not a fan.

But also, the dynamic between Troy, Mari, and Cheryl also changes. Troy's loneliness has him relating to Cheryl in a way he hasn't before. And Mari is kind of left doing get usual thing. She hasn't changed at all. But life is changing around her, and she's not a fan.

So while this ep was more domestic in nature, it sets up some things that were paramount to the next series of eps.
