Creator

(*The phrase the kid says translates to something like "Cross, cross, go away devil, let Jesus through." But it rhymes in spanish.) How do you react to someone saying something corny with a straight face? She was used to prioritizing the emotions of others over her own. Her grandfather's. Her father's. Even the spirits'. So when this random boy she found herself drawn to, suddenly told her what amounted to 'Your feelings matter,' she didn't know what to do except laugh. But it wasn't a laugh laced with bitterness. In fact, she found his naivety of her situation... endearing. So she thanked him. Thank you for reading! See you next week for some ghost shenanigans with the duo!
