Bread is surprisingly expensive in Bermuda so I started baking bread when we moved here. The best recipe I've found is from Julia Child https://www.geniuskitchen.com/recipe/julia-childs-white-bread-9032 Recipe makes two loaves and if you keep them wrapped in plastic they'll stay good all week
