So in the book, the scientist is called Victor Frankenstein and the creature doesn't get a name, it's just called The Creature. Everyone just started calling him Frankenstein because that's the name of the book. Anyway some people get het up about it when you call the creature Frankenstein, but those people are jerks and you can ignore them
