Fun fact: usually only the children of lords and ladies were referred to as "Master ____/Mistress_____" or ""Young sir/Young lady". So when Theo Calls the urchins "Master ____" or "Young Sir" he's talking to them as if they were his own kids, and not below him in station. It would be like calling a kid "little prince/princess" in today's language. It's especially Affectionate in a very proper way.
