It was meant to end like this... Eiji is not himself when Demian's around, he turns into an obsessive little monster who only wants to be loved by him. With time and perspective, Eiji will regret the whole thing. Hopefully he'll be able to move on and maybe find someone to have a healthy relationship with someday (whether he does or not, that's also in my head and I'll probably share it later!).
