After Last year I started to really start looking into Filipino folklore and it's quite the rabbit hole to go down. What I think is cool is hearing from Filipino people who see my WIPs and final products that grandparents and older family members will pass these tales on to the younger generation, sometimes as scare tactics. Maybe that's common in other places, but where I live that's not a thing.
