Singing was another thing Private Ichor Sanguine was not supposed to do while on sentinel duty. He had always sung very softly, so that the other hellhounds would not hear him, but now he was singing in his normal voice. He was obeying a direct order from the king's son and heir, and he suspected Prince Phillip would be wroth with him if he whisper-sang.
