LORE: Shadow did struggle to fit in at home, where he was considered a little odd for his apparent lack of interest in relationships and his aversion to being touched by people outside of his immediate family. He was also known as a bit of a crybaby when he was younger, a reputation that stuck with him into his teenage years and embarrassed him to no end. He often felt very different and alone.
