The effects look strange because of webtoon's clipping/uploading (I'll try to fix them later, but we're on a deadline now). This chapter reminds me how much I like Doctor Strange and I wanted to evoke that art style. Issac now has a superhero costume, but we're working on more developed costumes for him. This is just his first astral form. The mask and eyes are a Persona 5 reference too.
