Even among the Humans living on Aire'lios, the Elven homeworld, sincere belief in the Keepers is somewhat unusual. Piper was raised in a region with dozens of ruined temples and sites scattered around, and he had the rare priveledge of having an old Elven mentor as a child, so he was exposed to their legends far more than most.
