This issue picks up right after Niko finds a little scroll hidden inside his martial arts trophy. The scroll has a seal on it that looks like space(cosmic???) Jay decided to dare Niko to break the seal. Niko breaks the seal and the energy inside the seal absorbed into Niko. Niko is now passed out hovering inches from the floor.
