Inspired by a trip to Fallingwater by Frank Lloyd Wright. A Canadian philosopher coined "The medium is the message." i.e. New methods of communication (travel) also impact *what* info gets shared between whom. Before cars, homes were oriented to front yards where you'd sit on porches & chat with people passing on horses. Cars (fast, noisy) led FLW to reorient homes to the privacy of backyards.
