When I was writing the script for this story, I wanted to introduce a couple of wolves as guardians of the mountain but a friend told me that wolves are quite overrated so I used a snow leopard instead. I wanted to preserve the wolves though... so I came up with the idea of Skoll and Haati when I was already drawing the second chapter!!
