We visited my parents on a trip. When we got home Monday, all seemed well. By Thursday we noticed Lexie seemed sick. By Sunday, we felt the need to take her to the vet to see if she had a sinus infection or allergies. The doctor said it was heart failure or cancer, and it was time to say goodbye. My therapist encouraged me to express my feelings through art. I'm so sorry my princess.
