For a long time, I wrestled with the idea of Heidi and Samson having puppies. And realized that although it was something I wanted, I knew it wasn't a responsible example to set. Not to mention that it isn't within Karen's character to do such a thing! And for another, this comic line doesn't just revolve around Samson and Heidi. But about rescuing animals, and doing the responsible thing by them.
