So i'll tell you a secret, I wasn't going to reveal "the plan" that Rupert was running against the mayor until basically the end of the series, but... after re-reading the script for this episode, i didn't have the heart. I could tell you all were mad at Rupert, and I tried to hint in subtle ways (like the bandage coming off, which I may not even address). but it felt like good timing.
