Happy Lunar New Year! Over here, we celebrate the Chinese New Year. Today's story features the lion dance. It is a dance performed on important festivals, believed to draw in luck. A cabbage or lettuce is used during the dance as an auspicious green leafy vegetable in 'Choi Ching', translating to "plucking green vegetables."
