What was that game children played in which they flick each other’s knuckles? Pops? Pops is also the name for a cereal and for one’s father. Depending on where one is in North America, one might hear “pop” or “soda” in reference to the same beverage. Let’s not forget the verb or onomatopoeia either. “Pop” is a very versatile word, unlike “eleven” which pretty much means one thing.
