Tonally this is a very different comic from my usual but it was true for the time. I was experiencing health, emotional, and situational problems all at once which caused me to be exhausted and overwhelmed. It still wasn’t an excuse because I realized I was putting my needs above my son’s, wanting him to just listen to me more than wanting him to feel safe and loved. I’ve done better since!
