All respect to Wes, but the real "Marie" Ellen Everett despised being depicted dressed in mustard yellow. Being my girlfriend at the time of production, I resisted her objections in favor of wanting the artists to have the freedom to follow their own inspirations. It's one of the reasons "Paul" wears the colors he does in his normal daily outfit. I NEVER wear white shirts or Converse.
