Creator
One of the roles Anubis filled in Egyptian mythology was to perform a measurement that determined whether a person was worthy of entering the realm of the dead. With Anubis’ heart scale, he would weight a dead person’s heart against a feather. If the heart was lighter, the dead one would be accepted into the afterlife. Anubis The Dog is reliving his former life, by weighing a plush heart.
