But side note: I love telling stories from the perspective of the antagonist. I think there’s a lot of potential in that viewpoint. It makes for an interesting character study but you also have to make sure you’re not justifying their actions. Drew is very morally grey and you’re not supposed to sympathize with him in the same way you’d sympathize with a true hero. Rather, I want the audience to WANT him to grow. I want people to see him develop over time to become a better person.
