Next question is by Lucinda Cottentale! Question is: "How do you handle your layers while drawing? [...]" Great question! Lets see if I can explain in 1000 words or less!

First I always start with my sketch layers. I work in Clip Studio, so I color code everything:
BLUE: For figuring out shapes n panels. I always start here
YELLOW: I have this layer near the top of the folder, but you should use this after the Blue layer. Knowing where the words go early on is important!
RED: For sketching in more detail. I tend to have more than one of these layers tbh
GREEN: My most detailed layer. Good for figuring lil details like hands or action lines
Purple: My backgrounds. I sketch this last, but your call on when you do it

After the sketch layers are done, I ink my panel lines and then lock them so they dont move (important!). Next I ink my characters, then backgrounds. Color layers are tricky, I will have to explain that in more detail in the future.
