Pity the fool who was misled into thinking that the episode numbers were originally intended to be written in Roman numerals.

But that was not the case.

The number "1" in the font used for episode titles resembles the letter 'i'. Therefore, episode 1 looked like it used Roman numerals in the title and so this trend continued for the subsequent episodes.

One day, this mistake was discovered when multiple numbers were written using that same font. The other numbers look like normal numbers. It was just 1 that looked like the letter 'i'.
