Normally the star rating of Magic Words stays at the same number for months at a time but recently it's been steadily going down. It's a suspiciously similar time frame to when I made the Pride Month Elis drawing 🤔

if you're unaware, many Canvas creators (and even Originals) have reported being rate bombed, where people will give a 1 star rating to drive the average down. It's especially devastating for small creators with under 1000 subs since even one bad rating has so much power to tank the rating.

that's all to say that if you want to support a Canvas series you should give it a 10star rating. even if you personally think it's only a 7/10, any rating that will pull the average score down is not helpful. Webtoon's rating system is heavily abused and they havent done anything about it for years, so the best way to combat it is to try to raise the ratings of all your favorite series, especially the small ones!! it's an easy way to support your favorite small creators for free!
