Working on a weekly comic without a team involves a lot of overworking yourself. I frequently pull all-nighters and I barely leave the house, but since I'm a homebody, I don't mind it that much. One week I decided to go get groceries myself, and I got rained on mercilessly. No biggie, I love rain too. What followed, though, was that I caught a horrible cold that left me in bed for a full day. Turns out stress really puts a strain in your immune system, and overworking yourself and getting soaked in the rain is a recipe for disaster. While I was laying in bed with a fever, I thought "For Episode 64, I'm going to make Puig fall sick too. It makes sense. He overworks himself, he barely eats good food, and he got soaked." Not to mention its one of my favorite tropes.

I can't believe some people thought he was drunk! 😖
