Ok so in order to start, we’ll have to talk about powers. Everyone in the Valihide world has em (tho there are probably exceptions) and they believe they came from gods. (We don’t have too many of the kinks figured out yet.)
Then, at this daycare in the outskirts of Ianean City, a gas explosion/literal explosion(?) happened. The kids in there, but not the adults, were affected by this gas, but they didn’t realize it until later.
Now, for all powers, everyone unlocks them when they feel a really strong emotion from ages 8-14. The emotion they’re supposed to feel depends on the power they have within them waiting to be unlocked.
The kids at the day care don’t notice anything odd until they unlock their powers. Once they do, it’s at a level higher than normal, and they figure out later, that it has an increased “level up” speed.
