Von has written, drawn, and published a number of comics and graphic novels and has won some grants and awards (a 2019 CBC Trailblazer Award for mental health advocacy; was awarded a City of Ottawa grant in 2020 and 2022; and was featured in a documentary film entitled I AM STILL YOUR CHILD).
