Asteli wakes up alone in the woods, their memories of who they are gone. On top of that, they discover new magic they can't control and that they're heir to the throne of Lakedal, a kingdom taken over by their thought to be dead aunt, Alvera. With Alvera hunting them, Asteli must learn to control their magic and fight to take their kingdom back, before it's all too late.
