Doctor Valerie Rimma is the daughter of the best doctor the country had ever known, and the only person who stood a chance at stopping the plague. Her father died in the midst of the plague and the heavy burden of curing the plague fell onto Valerie’s plate. With the weight of the world on her shoulders, the only one she can confide to is her childhood friend, Amelia. Even then, seeing patients drop like flies in her own hospital does not make the job any easier.
