Axel, 17 year old, is living in the future. He childhood best friend and boyfriend, Tanner, is finally happy. The so called “Guardians” are protecting the “disabled”. When Axel gets discovered by the Guardians and get tested for being half blind and half deaf, he is torn away from everyone he loves when he tries to escape.
