Mercury Dune, a white cat with an impossible amount of knives, tears asunder the Maelstrom in an attempt to escape his brother. A standard and regular activity. However, he realizes a grave mistake has been made when he falls into a world of color. Kasto, a resident of Ullen, makes it her goal to help Mercury get back through the Maelstrom and into his own world. But tearing the Maelstrom has consequences, as the same tear allows fiendish beings called Corruptions to wreak havoc in Ullen.
