Inspired by Russian folklore, this is a family drama and fantasy adventure taking place in a fictional country based off the Kievan Rus. The protagonist, princess Lyalya, learns the hard way not to give out her trust easily. Stranded in a forest, she has nobody to turn to but the forest spirits for help. Meanwhile the queen, Lyudmila Ivanovna, struggles to uphold the reputation and influence of her family after her daughter's disappearance.
