Fun facts about New Zealand’s Hochstetter’s Frog: it’s one of NZ’s 4 native frog species, and the only native one that has a tadpole stage. It lives around streams, doesn’t croak, and grabs food with its hands to eat it! The Hochstetter’s Frog is also smaller than it appears in this chapter, but I drew it bigger for practical reasons.
