The Cleft is a short comic series that follows the stories of Navi and Sage. Navi is cursed with a wingless shadow. And a wingless shadow is one of the highest curses in Minerva. Navi must undergo a rite of passage and traverse perilous plains to reach Matriarch Birch, whom Navi hopes will undo their curse. Sage is cursed with having the wings of Yaro; the demon of deceit. And when Sage fails his rite of passage, there is no one left to help an outcast of Minerva. Or is there…?
