Okay, so in the original "final" draft of Super City (in which this was part of the first chapter), Kiedo appears instead of Bernard in this scene. However, he then appears in the next chapter with his bruise (and in this scene he is missing one). So, I changed it to be Charles instead to make more sense. We also get a little more context for everything in a way that flows better.
