It's the year 2019. After the events roughly ten years ago more and more big cities across Japan have established Mew Mew groups for safety reasons. Since there are no more aliens around, Mew Mews are used to fight regular crimes. That is, until a new evil appears in a small rural town and, yet again, five girls find themselves as Mew Mews.
